Hello yes it's me

Seems like old habits never die, and my old and worst habit is having accounts on online communities.
Right now, it's an actually old habit, since I haven't been part of any online thing for a while. Last one was a writing board on the long gone 2007, but the page died on 2010. We had some sweet drama, but that's a story I won't tell today.
That's a time most of Dreamwidth users were too busy with livejournal, and that's a phase I'd love to have had. I went straight from my dear writing board to Facebook, and Tumblr makes me feel like I've missed something.
So yeah, here I am starting a journal that could totally be a personal blog. Actually, seeing how many people use this kind of thing, I might use it as a personal blog, among fandom and such. Speaking of which, I hope I can find my place on my favorite fandoms, since I've been so out of them lately. I just hope I don't become the person who arrives too late to the party, so everyone is chatting with someone else and the person I came with is making out with some random buff dude.
Anyway, I'm kind of excited about this. I really hope I keep this journal updated. I'm going to keep it open for a while, and see how things develop.

I haven't published nothing un AO3 (I'm more of a passive member of fandoms), but I use it as a storage for my fandom readings, and I couldn't be happier with it. Yeah, those fandoms are great, right now I'm trying to catch up with my main fandoms (Doctor Who and Welcome to Night Vale, mostly, but also Supernatural and maybe Hannibal). The excitement for the weekly episodes is something I used to live for, but I sort of left fandom. Not something that I'm proud of.

Aww, thank you. Rocky Horror Picture Show is my favourite movie from all times (also my safe place), and Columbia is, IMHO, the best character. She just wanted to love and feel loved, she gives me a lot of sympathy.

I just finally got AO3 figured out, sort of. I'm hoping it gives me incentive to write. I dusted off some of my old stuff and am taking a look at it to see how much I hate it. Ha! Typical, I know. I have to do some rewrites, mostly due to mid-scene perspective changes, but I'll probably toss them up anyway. Interestingly, one story is based around attending the midnight performance of Rocky Horror.

It's a scientific truth that nobody likes their own writing a few days/weeks/months/years after it's written. We simply do our best to make it less hateful. It's also a scientific truth that anything can happen in a midnight performance of Rocky Horror. And most likely the stoned guys in the back of the room will be to blame, even though it looked like aliens in the first place.
